The Ridiculous Race by Steve Hely & Vali Chandrasekaran
About this book - This book will grab you from the start and then fail to deliver. I loved reading the first 100 pages but then just got annoyed. Everything is fun and exciting to begin and the writing is good, but when they setup this race and then cheat by not following the rules it becomes a mess of slacker meets competition. I do recommend this book to some friends but the recommendations come selectively. As a book of humor this book rates 4/5 as a book of adventure this book rates 3/5 as a book of travel this book would be a 2/5. So if you need a good laugh but have no interest in integrity or world travel then check it out and I promise you'll smile more than once.
